Project Party Blog Edition

As you all probably know by now, projects are one of my passions. I love everything about them from that first light bulb idea to the planning and execution. One of my favorite steps in the project management process is CELEBRATING accomplishments and wins. I think it’s absolutely crucial to take time to really appreciate all the hard work you and your team put into completing an incredible project.

This inspired me to create Project Party Blog Editions where we put the SPOTLIGHT on some INCREDIBLE entrepreneurs and their project success. The purpose is to celebrate small business owners’ accomplishments, share helpful tools with fellow entrepreneurs, and inspire each other along the way!

Stephanie Project PartyStephanie Crowder, Miss Corner Office

What do you do? I connect women with their dream careers, whether that’s landing an amazing job or becoming an entrepreneur. I help women learn to sell themselves and get clear on their life’s work!

What project did you blow out of the water last month? I have started putting clients through a website blueprint program. It starts with them getting really clear on who they are, what they do and how they want their websites to work for them. It ends with me designing and launching their new customized website.

What are the top 3 tools and/or resources that helped you make it a success?

  1. Studio press for WordPress themes.
  2. Smart Passive Income: Podcast for motivation & inspiration.
  3. Fizzle: Online training videos and community that cover everything from list building to booking clients. It has really helped me get tactical in my business.

Ana - Project Party EditedAna Verzone, Freedom Junkie

What do you do? I’m a Boredom Slayer and Thrive Maximizer that help women create freedom in their lives, from their cells to their spirit.

What project did you blow out of the water last month? My Urban Wellness Club launch: an on-going body/mind/spirit sisterhood that covers juicy topics each month to help take my peeps to the “I-can’t-believe-this-is-my-life” level.

What are the top 3 tools and/or resources that helped you make it a success?

  1. I stepped into my true identity as a multi-passionate, not hiding my geeky science side from my adventure + freedom side and vice versa.
  2. I launched this project with a new baby, so for the first time I had to surrender to relying more heavily on a Virtual Assistant. By letting go, a lot more got done.
  3. I took the time to collect meaningful testimonials and seeded them throughout my free offerings that led up to my launch. It was amusing to see that my most awesome testimonials spoke to my multi-passionism!

Malie - Project PartyMalle Rydzik, The Off-Road Millennial

What do you do? I teach solopreneurs how to streamline their online businesses with productivity systems and tools.

What project did you blow out of the water last month? Filled up the first round of my first group program, Systematic Awesomeness, a 4-week systems extravaganza.

What are the top 3 tools and/or resources that helped you make it a success?

  1. Facebook ads to direct my ideal clients to a landing page with an opt-in offer.
  2. Rafflecopter to give away free prizes including a seat in my program. Once the contest was over I was able to follow up with the extra warm leads acquired by Rafflecopter before the program closed.
  3. Twitter for marketing. Rafflecopter has a tweet to enter option which increased interested in the contest and provided social proof that others were clamoring for a free spot!

Denise - Project partyDenise Cooper, Live.Life.Lit.

What do you do? I offer 7-Day Sacred Juice Cleanse Retreats in Peru.

What project did you blow out of the water last month? I led 9 participants through 7 days of spiritual fasting that consisted of yoga, meditation, ceremonies, and discussions. I also coordinated the individual healing sessions with 7 different healers – acupuncture, mayan dreamspell, shiatsu, ancient thai massage, kambo, Reiki sessions, and Raindrop Therapy.

What are the top 3 tools and/or resources that helped you make it a success?

  1. My connection to Spirit –  connecting to something greater than myself. This is my guiding light and helps everything unfold in a magical, graceful way.
  2. My organizational skills/flexibility – being able to prioritize and roll with the punches (i.e. broken juicers and unpredictable weather).
  3. My website – my virtual home/signpost to give people an idea of the essence of our retreats.
